This
fantastic trek goes through the Khumbu valley, taking us to
the Gokyo lakes and a great view of Everest from Gokyo Ri
With time to explore villages and monasteries and to sample
the incredible hospitality of the Sherpa people, this trek
is unbeatable. Our trek begins with an unforgettable flight
from Kathmandu to Lukla. Walking through delightful Sherpa
villages in the Dudh Kosi valley we make our way to Namche
Bazaar and beyond to Gokyo's alpine lakes and an ascent of
Gokyo Ri. The views from here are tremendous, a 360 degree
panorama of snow capped peaks, glaciers and valleys including
an incredible view of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu and
Cho Oyu. On the return we go via the spectacular Renjo La
pass and the village of Thame were Tenzing Norgay was born,and
some, less visited Sherpa villages.
